So Much Spotifying – remastered Hodgepodge V

Hasn’t it been a strange time lately? I’ve found myself going on boggy adventures less and less and my sewing accident a month or so ago has certainly put a dampener on playing much cello. Maybe I’m in a bit of a slump.

I have had a very nice time looking back on one of my favourite Hodgepodges over the past week or two though, remixing and remastering it for Spotify and the other digital streaming services. Number 5. It’s filled with memories of adventures past, going on a Swamp Stomp looking for big footed creatures only to realise that I was one of the creatures I was looking for! A bit scary. Reminders of a lovely sandy river bed where I could snooze and listen to the little birdies all around me; spooky times of wondering what the noise was in that dark cave type hole and what was making it and what was in there!!??? Memories of staying out far too late after sunset only to realise that there was barely enough moonlight to find my way home but somehow always managing to make it home safely… and a reminder that things always look better in the morning.

I haven’t remixed and remastered everything that I’ve put on Spotify but thought my precious Hodgepodge V deserved to sound a bit better. Everything seems to be a bit clearer which makes me happy and I hope you’ll enjoy the new sound clarity too. There is a pre-save link below which will send you notification on when it becomes available out there in digital streaming land.

My silly video for Swamp Stomp is up the top. I had so much fun making it and I really loved the twig I found and danced with at the end of the video.

Lots of love,

Laceface
