Note to self: you should write this in the middle of the night when you wax lyrical instead of the middle of the day when you’re sleepy. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.
Last Saturday I released my seventh Hodgepodge into the world. It’s the usual hodgepodge of whatever I manage to mush in together using my acoustic and ‘electric’ cello as the inspiration and whatever emotions I might be feeling at the time. While the reach of my music is fairly limited, I have been overwhelmed by the beautiful comments and support I’ve received. Thank you to each one of you.
Firstly, I’d like to share something from The Woman With No Head. She is a very interesting musician who uses an e-bow and makes lovely intriguing sounds. Her YouTube channel is here https://www.youtube.com/user/enowmusic
WOW !!! That was truly brilliant, what a trip ! π I loved how each track opened gates to new different worlds every single time, such a perfect mix of different styles and genres. Infinite respect to you ! π

I wish I could express how touching the above was to me.
You can imagine how tickled pink I was to receive a few likes in the Electric String Players Group on Facebook but the piece de resistance was this quote.
βMuch more interesting, fresh and daring than the latest Apocalyptica album.β

I feel so honoured to have received such lovely words and thank you for taking the time to listen.
Lots of love,
